We are talking about the Bentley Bentayga Speed, which joins the best-performing family of the British brand, with credentials that make it the fastest SUV on the planet. We have a new member in the Bentley Speed line and this time the English manufacturer has chosen to add more wood to their SUV, with an eye on the Lamborghini Urus. And is that the Italian SUV, to date the fastest production SUV in the world, has ceased to be. Although by little.
The Bentley Bentayga Speed, thanks to increase the performance of its most powerful mechanical option, is able to reach a maximum speed of 306 km / h, thus removing the throne to the Urus with a margin of the tightest: only 1 km / h.

Thanks to this injection of power, the Bentayga Speed increases its performance to a maximum speed of 306 km/h, while the acceleration to 100 km / h goes from 4.1 seconds to 3.9 seconds.
Also with four-wheel drive and managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Speed variant of the SUV has already known benefits in the rest of the range, such as the rear-end differential or the four Drive Dynamics driving modes.
However, the Sport mode has recalibrated specifically to offer improved dynamics, adjusting engine response, exhaust system sound or suspensions. Likewise, optionally, carbocerámicos brakes can be incorporated, which save 20 kilos to the set in comparison with those of iron.
Luxury and sportsmanship in equal parts
Bentley accompanies these ingredients with a more aggressive aesthetic in the Bentayga Speed. On the outside, the optics, the grille or the grilles of the bumpers have been darkened, in addition to adding side skirts in the color of the body.
The extra in sportsmanship is carried out by a generously sized spoiler that crowns the rear, while the set is completed by 22-inch wheels with up to three specific designs to choose from (silver, black or dark).
The Speed badge can be read both on the body and in the passenger compartment, which also receives some exclusive details. With a combination of Alcantara, leather and carbon fiber, the distinctive note is provided by the orange seams on the seats or the dashboard. Also, in the thresholds is added a molding with the name Speed, which lights up when the front doors are opened.
To its full equipment, you can add optional benefits such as seats with up to 22 different settings and with massage system, ambient lighting or infotainment system for the rear seats. All a paragon of luxury that does not make us forget that we are first of all a Bentley.
