Founded back in 1901, originally named St Sidwell’s United, Exeter Football Club as they are now known, play in the EFL League One. Nicknamed “The Grecians” the Club is owned by a loyal band of supporters through the Exeter City Supporters Trust. Their home ground is at “St James’ Park” which has a capacity to hold over 8,000 football fans. The way to the ground is very clearly signposted so that visiting players and their rival group of fans can easily find their way there. Designed and crafted by a professional Signage Exeter company these signs are essential to get all the hoards of milling fans safely to the football ground.
With bright red and white striped tops, red shorts and socks their Home colours stand out and that’s what a professionally designed sign should also do. Standing out amongst all the other plain, hardboard signs by being designed as a bespoke, artistic piece of art, these cleverly crafted signs clearly show details of a business’s contact details and address.
Having several famous Fans in their crowd the Club can claim that Coldplay’s David Earl and Chris Martin as well as comedian Adrian Edmondson, and Televisions Noel Edmonds have all been part of their Home crowd. Their honorary Director was none other than the pop singer Michael Jackson! The main rivalry against loyal Exeter City supporters is any fan of Plymouth Argyle, Torquay United are also considered rivals though on a much friendlier basis.
